Found this video spreading around the 'nets like ivy. It's a remix of Mister Rogers designed by Symphony of Science's John Boswell for PBS Digital Studios. The song is created with bits of Mister Rogers' dialogue, which is modulated into a sing-songy rhythm, and then mixed in with some mash-ups of various music bites from the long running PBS children's show. What makes this a great big treat is that it holds fast to the original themes of Fred Rogers' wonderful show, that of imagination and goodness. It's refreshing to see someone use their imagination to create a hip new look at Rogers' old skool style, without escaping to parody or raw humor. Such a great, catchy song! Enjoy!!!

Yes, the Christmas season has hit youtube already. Here's a clip from what looks like a Kristy McNichol TV special, singing and dancing with Karen Carpenter.
